The 69-year-old actor, who is also known for starring in films such as Mortal Kombat, had been signing autographs at the fan convention when he collapsed before being transported away via an ambulance, a witness told the outlet.

A representative for Lambert told TMZ that the star is ‘perfectly okay’ and currently back at his H๏τel resting.

The medical emergency had been the result of a blood sugar drop due to a lack of sleep and food, according to his rep.

Lambert is also scheduled to make an appearance at Steel City Con on Sunday, August 9, but it is not yet confirmed if he will make an appearance.

The convention issued a statement on its Facebook page on Saturday which read: ‘Christopher Lambert had to leave the event due to a personal issue. Return time TBD. PH๏τo op canceled.’
