Nicole Kidman just gave her fans an inside look on the set of Susanne Bier’s long-awaited sequel Practical Magic 2, which hits US/UK theaters on September 11.

The 59-year-old Oscar winner, who boasts 26 million Instagram/Facebook followers, captioned her 20-pH๏τo slideshow posted last Friday: ‘Just a little magic!’

In one sH๏τ, Kidman stands atop ‘the roof’ of the Owens family’s Victorian-style Mᴀssachusetts house – umbrella in hand – alongside co-stars Joey King, Maisie Williams and Sandra Bullock.

The Hawaiian-born Australian was wired up, ready to jump, as she shared a candid moment with King, who portrays her witchy character Gillian’s niece Kylie.

The plot of the sequel, set 25 years after the original film, centers on Kylie developing her own dark abilities in order to fix the family’s centuries-long curse after her boyfriend (Xolo Maridueña) dies in a bicycle accident in London.

‘The Owens women must once again unite, traveling from their home in Mᴀssachusetts to the United Kingdom to confront the source of their magic and save the next generation of their family,’ the logline read.

It’s adapted from Alice Hoffman’s 2021 sequel story, The Book of Magic.

‘They are the best duo ever. Nicole and I worked together a few years ago. She plays my mom in a movie and we became really close from that, which is so crazy. I’m just such a fan of her. I’m so in awe of her. She’s the nicest person ever,’ King told People last month.

‘Sandy just takes us under her wing as her daughters. It is really special to have this post-movie bond with her that we have. She sends us voice notes all the time. She’s always hyping us up. She’s just the sweetest. They’re the best.’
